Vladimír Havlík is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Philosophy of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague. He works on topics in philosophy of science, especially physics, biology and complexity theory. He is the Secretary of the Czech Committee for Logic, Methodology, and Philosophy of Science and member of the IT Committee at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
He has published widely in Czech and English. Dr. Havlík earned his PhD in Philosophy and Physics from Charles University in Prague.
