Tomáš Hříbek is a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Philosophy of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague. His interests range from topics in philosophy of mind to philosophy of biology, ethics and aesthetics (he teaches the latter subject at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague).
Dr. Hříbek published two Czech-language monographs—on psychological externalism and on phenomenal consciousness, respectively—as well as several dozen scholarly papers or book-chapters, both in Czech and English. He earned his MA from Bowling Green State University, OH, and PhD in Philosophy from the University of Minnesota in 2006.
